I really am trying to like yellow. I am not sure why I don’t like it. It actually makes me feel nervous and uneasy. But then I see little accents of it throughout magazines and I feel myself wanting something in yellow. Not too much.
So, seeing as I am on the hunt for new bedside table lamps, I thought yellow could be used here! My bed is black and I have white and grey linen.
However, I have exhausted all my resources and have had no luck finding the perfect yellow based lamps. Not bright, not overpowering.
Maybe yellow and I aren’t meant to be….
Do you have colours that you just can’t warm to? Does anybody make lamp shades? Maybe I could get some made and this way I could change them if I start to get nervous at the sight of the yellow?
