Word of the Week

I’m participating in Word of the Week via Gifts of Serendipity.
Sometimes I break out in a random act of tap dancing. I will start a little routine and the kids will stare at me in disbelief (asking themselves “is she serious?”). I finish the routine with a big ta-da and gee it feels good. However, I cannot tap-dance. Never learnt. I am not as lissom as I used to be and wouldn’t attempt the above pose  unless there was an ambulance nearby.

What a fantastic image – this gal could be the 'Poster Girl' for lissomness!

For readers of this post, if you would like to participate in the Word of the Week, we are having a temporary deferment until next week in deference to all those suffering in the floods in Qld and Northern NSW.

Pop in on Wednesday to play along – that's one whole week to think up a post using the word lissom….

I can so relate! I've always thought of tap dancing as one of those "fake" talents, where as long as you said "ta-da" and tapped with loads of enthusiasm it would always look like you knew what you were doing.

    I am, of course, wrong.
