Oh I had the same experience in my house this morning. Hubby disappeared with the lads for their 3 soccer matches and soccer photos starting at 6.30am! .. so I could study in peace…. it was delicious!!!!! Hope you had long enough to revel in it! A-M xx

NO!

You are never too old, and it’s never too late to establish goals and chase new dreams! In fact, midlife could be the prime time to do this!

Here’s why...

👉 In midlife, you likely have more time than ever before, particularly if your children have grown up and moved out.

👉 You’ve gained clearer insights into who you are, what you want, and what truly matters to you.

👉 You’ve moved past living up to others’ expectations and ‘shoulds’, learning how to carve out your own space in life without feeling guilty (or at least you’re on your way there).

👉 Your willingness to learn is at its peak; you’re open to new approaches, ready to master proven methods for achieving goals, and breaking the endless cycle of depending on self-discipline and willpower only to face disappointment.

You’re definitely not too old, and it’s certainly not too late! In fact, this might just be the perfect moment for your goals and dreams!

The book is called Fast. Feast. Repeat. From it, I understood that it takes 28 days to reset your liver, after which you start seeing results. It has been a new experience for me, and I’ve enjoyed it once I figured out how to do it properly. I started noticing last year how awful I felt after eating carbs and sugar. Now, I ensure everything in my eating window is healthy, though not overly restrictive. It’s not a diet; it’s just a change. I am following a 16:8 plan and can’t push myself beyond that because it makes me feel awful. If you can understand the science behind it, it will help you. I have Crohn’s Disease, so this approach is making me feel much better, and I quickly lost 8 kg once I got past the initial “reset.” I’m no health expert, so I’m not preaching, just sharing!
