We have chickens. I’m actually going to miss them when we move in 3 weeks.
They have given us much entertainment over the last few months. I have learnt more about a chicken than a normal person would ever need to know.
We had one who had a prolapse (that was not nice). I had to learn all about their anatomy to work out it was a prolapse. Ewww. My husband and his brother-in-law had to ‘take care’ of the poor chook.
Then we have a chook called ‘Brownie’. He’s a bit sick. Paralysed even. He can’t walk. He lifts his head and that’s about it. My kids carry him around and put him right in front of the food, then put him back to bed. If I’m having a bad day I just think about Brownie and how crap his must be, and then I snap out of it. Who knew a chicken could be therapeutic? But seriously, he’s not well, and needs to be ‘taken care of’ too. Husband not keen as the first one was not an instant success.
Next, is Agro. The video says it all…
Hope you all have a great weekend! x
