Meet the couples on House Rules 2019

Have you watched a bit of House Rules 2019 yet? If you’re yet to catch up you can quickly meet the 6 couples here…

The contestants have done a warehouse challenge and are just starting on the first house reno – Pete and Courtney’s home this week.

Check out who is who…

Lisa and Andy, SA

Lisa is a flight attendant and Andy is a Fireman. They are married, no kids, have renovated before and Andy is very handy. Their home is located in Adelaide and they call a ‘1970s nightmare’.

Pete and Courtney, VIC

Pete and Courtney are both professional dance teachers, married with a baby. They’ve had some previous renovation experience. Their home in the foothills of Victoria’s Dandenong Ranges is a ‘huge brown brick 80s mega-mansion that’s stuck in some wacky time warp.’

Mikaela and Eliza, WA

Sisters, Mikaela and Eliza, have never renovated before. They are doing it for their Mum. They’ll be renovating the family home she lives in to give her a fresh start after her divorce from their father. Set on a beautiful one-acre block surrounded by bushland in WA’s Margaret River region, the house has never been completely finished and is now in need of some TLC.

Katie and Alex, NSW

Married couple Katie and Alex abandoned Canberra in 2016 for a rustic off-the-grid lifestyle in the Southern Tablelands of NSW. Katie is a stay-at-home mum to one-year-old daughter and Alex is in the Federal Police.

Tim and Mat, VIC

Brothers, chipper and experienced renovators. Mat is on this journey to help out Tim and his family; wife Kate and their one year-old daughter Isabella. Tim’s 1950s weatherboard cottage has never been renovated.

Shayn and Carly, QLD

Married for 6 years with 2 daughters. Shayn, a former chippie who hung up his nail gun six years ago, now works in Civil Engineering. Their home at the Sunshine Coast and is a tiny brick box measuring only 106 square metres.

The first and biggest whole house renovation begins at Pete and Courtney’s enormous 80’s brown brick mansion in the outer suburbs of Melbourne this week. Stay tuned!
