I finally decided on a bed-head

bedheadbefore

Yesterday I told you how I went to a garage sale and found some goodies… well this screen actually blew over in the wind right in front of me, so I took it as a sign! It was $35 and I couldn’t get it in my car fast enough!

I just used a few cans of spray paint and it was done! I did it away from the house – as you can see it’s in the spare block next door. It dried in no time. My husband just chopped some of the tops off to neaten them up. Then we dragged it inside and propped it up behind the bed. Even my husband was excited about it! But you know, the photos never do it anything justice. I think it looks waaaay better in real life.

{Lamps are from Freedom, pink cushions are from The Block Shop, quilt is from Ezibuy, bed is king ensemble}

You can see the bedside table I did yesterday here.

Today I’m off for a bit of day surgery. I’m fasting AGAIN! God I hate not eating. I went downhill a little over night, but I’m ok. My Mummy is on her way over from Albury today. It’s going to be a long day… I think I might get back in to bed with my new bed-head and read the Woman’s Day 🙂

See you soon… X

    Love it! I want to do the same thing with a carved Indian- or Balinese-style screen. Haven’t found the right one at the right price yet though.

    Looks great! I don’t have the vision to create things like that. I’m a point-to-a-page-in-a-catalogue kind of gal.
    Feel better soon. And enjoy eating! x
