Dream for things really, really big

I am a bit of a dreamer. Always thinking up stuff, changing my mind and annoying everyone with the changes in my life.

Well, you go nowhere is this world if you don’t dream big! That’s what I say šŸ™‚

This year has been a crazy and intense ride, but it all happened because of a dream I had. I’ve now done things I could never image doing previously. TheĀ opportunitiesĀ that are now in front of me are exciting.

I work really hard and I never expect anyone to do anything for me. I am well aware of making my own path in this world.

So, in true Katrina style, I have more dreams. I have thought up new stuff I want to do. No time for beingĀ mediocreĀ or complacent with my life. Just because I’ve already been on a tv show doesn’t mean I am now just going to sit around and do nothing for a while…

Dreams do come true, but they also take a lot of time and energy. You have to push and push to get things to happen. If you really want it, I believe you’ll get it. It’s happened to me lots of time before and I am going to continue to make them come true. I sometimes tellĀ peopleĀ about my dreams. It’s a way of sort of making meĀ accountableĀ for them if I share them out loud. It’s like when people are dieting and they are told to share their weight loss goal with people. It makes you push harder if you’ve already told people about it.

2 years ago I was having a crappy time and I wanted things for us to change financially. I wrote down 5 things I wanted (monetaryĀ wise) and included paying off 2 big bills. I carried this piece of paper around in my purse. I started thinking about my life moreĀ positivelyĀ and I was into the fad The Secret. Their way of thinking really changed my life. I know there are so many thought-systems out there, but my advice is to seek out a way that can help you change your way of thinking about life and keep dreaming big. I am currently waiting for this book to land on my doorstep as I have heard it’s excellent.

Amie and I have now got a great team behind us and we are using their every skill to make our 2012 even bigger than 2011. But remember, it all started with a dream we had at the end of 2010. The dream was not “to be on a reality tv show”. The dream that Amie and I had was “to do something big together”. They come true, if you really want them to.

So, while I spend the next few months pushing for my new lot of dreams to come true, what will you be doing? Have you got some dreams?

Dream really, really big.Ā

Have a great day x

Inspiring post Katrina! So glad things are going so well for you. I am hoping to expand my online business next year and increase my range, somehow still managing to be a good mum! xx

Very inspiring and I can relate! I am always dreaming about something. Had the dream house ~ sold to be near the dream shop ~ closed it recently, but still online. Don’t feel like it’s enough, so I dream about what’s next? Problem is I always have to pull hubby along for the ride! Mx

I really believe in the saying,

“If you want something done, ask a busy person.”

There are just some people that make things happen, make the time to make them happen, and those that don’t.

It doesn’t mean that every single person can’t do this, just that some are more inclined to be ‘doers’ which leads them to amazing things.

I have a list of 50 things, not a bucket list as such, but just things to refer to when I find myself a bit lost with what to do next.

I loved your post. It was just what I needed to read this morning so thank you for being inspirational. I wrote once before to you when you were on The Block and having a terrible time. You inspired me back then as now I have my own blog and I am also in the process of starting a business with my sister. SO thank you for being inspiring. I hope that one day someone can say the same to me.
I have only replied once before to you by email as it was the only way I could work out how to “talk” to you. I was not a modern IT girl. I was determined after emailing you that I would learn how to communicate more effectively.
I will keep dreaming and making my dreams bigger. Thank you.X

I am going to open my own school, there I’ve said it !! Out loud on the net thingy. It will happen and I will continue to change kids lives forever. Thankyou Katrina for giving me a little extra courage to be a dream weaver not a dream crusher, Neen.
