Here are some of my favourite coffee table ideas. I am loving the pallet look and anything round! I have this pallet coffee table myself and I am on the hunt for the perfect round one for my front lounge room. I really like the silver drum looking one. I have a whole lot of Pinterest boards too with coffee table vignettes for you to drool over too.

    Mmmmm they are all interesting…personally, I like the third pic……we are a family of clumsiness and I could see us running into and tripping over the low, pallet style ones….they are nice though……….

    Ps, have u thought of making one from the big reels at the electricity place on Hammond Ave????? I had one as an outdoor table once……..

    The two round ones for me too, especially the metallic one. I made my own coffee table a few months ago from an old wooden cable reel. I sanded it down (apart from the top, which once was one of the sides if you know what I mean, think giant cotton reel). The wood grain is amazing under all the grime! Then I clear coated it all, put castors on the bottom and a piece of round glass on the top. The top still has the original orange paint, stencilling, staples etc in it and looks great. It is my favourite piece of furniture and cost me $60.

    love all of these though the sharp edges of some might be a bit dangerous for those with bubs. I like the idea of the pallettes…might ‘have-a-go’ for our big entertaining deck area. x kl
