my little girl is almost 6 and has always shared a room with her younger brother, so never had a really girly girl design, I would love to win this for her as a surprise for her birthday, love it!

  2. kelwoodford says

This room looks BEAUTIFUL and any girl would love to have the products. I love that the designs would last a girl for many many years from toddler through to teenager. If I won my eldest girl would be the lucky receiver as her room is the one that needs updating the most.

    Katrina, what a fabulous giveaway!

I’d love it for my four year old niece. Money is very tight for her mum so everything she has is hand-me-downs. She has an old bed of mum’s, an old doona of mine and doesn’t have much else in there. She’d me thrilled to bits with such a beautiful new room.

    TDM xx

  4. says

Oh yes please. Gaby will be sleeping on a blow up mattress for awhile until we can get her a bed. I would love to surprise her with this prize…..what a great giveaway!!!!

The room is gorgeous. We are about to embark on a big move for my husbands work. We live on the central QLD coast and are moving to the WA. The Pilbara actually. It will be a huge change for the kids as the closest beach is over 4 hours away. They have only ever know living near the coast (as have I). We are also moving away from all our family. I would love to win this for my daughter so she can make up her new room in our new house with these beautiful items.

  6. says

How coincidental, since I’m now revoting my little girls room! She is so excited as she is sleeping in the lounge room at the moment! Still have all those last little decorating bits to get, but a new bed would be fantastic as she is sleeping in her sister’s old bed. Anyway good luck to the winner, who ever you are. Giulia.x

  7. Simone says

When people ask me where my daughters bedroom is i say “down that little lane” LOL,people say the hallway!!!!!!,Chloe would be so wrapped if her bedroom got to look like that!!!!!She has always had seconds and hand-me downs even the bed.

  8. says

This would be for my daughter. We are expecting another bub next year, so will be focusing on setting up the baby room. A room makeover for her would make her feel special too.

  9. Vicki says

Oh wow, what a prize! That bed and pouffe get my heart a racing. We are currently renovating and I have that exact bed and pouffe top of my list to put into my girls room, they are 6 and 3yrs old and share a room. The sock monkey and petite elephant would perfect for my 9 month old baby girl, the doona would go to one of the girls. The Incy bedside would either find itself in my 15yr olds room (another girl) or if I can wrangle it out of her hot little hands I’d put it in the lounge, perfect for a side table, or possibly even buy an extra and give them to my son for in his room, and those prints, well I’ve got the perfect spot for them in the toy room. Awesome prize. DTLL is awesome, I drool over the website daily and may or may not have already made a few purchases from there, but ssshhhh, don’t tell anyone.

  10. Linda says

  12. says

If I could win this package it would be for my new daughter, our third baby and first girl. Jemima arrived whilst we were living with friends waiting for our new home to be ready, she has a bassinette and that’s it. The priority Is to get the boys rooms ready. I’d love Have a jump start with this package to set up her room which would also double as a guest bed for our East coast visitors.

  13. Rebecca McLean says

I would love to win this for my daughter Milly. As the youngest of three daughters, her room has sadly become a bit of a dumping ground for her big sister’s old stuff and hand me downs. She is four and is beginning to notice that ‘her’ space isn’t as pretty, and as organised as her older sisters. This beautiful set would get us on the right track for her:-) Totally love Down that Little Lane! Thanks so much x

  14. says

What a give away. So generous and soooo cool. I am redecorating the little girls room at the moment and trying to incorporate plans for when she gets out of her cot. This will definitely help me make my decisions.

  15. says

Katrina, I am totally entering this comp to satisfy the severe lack of pink and girl things in my life with a house full of boys. I have two God-daughters who are sisters and they are moving from the ‘tween’ to ‘teen’ stage. There are so many cool elements like the Pouffe and the Moroccan style bedding that they can incorporate into a very cool room. Thanks for the chance! xx

  16. Deb Risley says

I would love to win this for my 8 year old daughter. She is outnumbered by her 2 little bully brothers, and needs a little sanctuary of her own! Love the blue pouffe xx

  17. Tammi Ryan says

My youngest daughter Matilda would dearly love to have her room “made-over”. Her older sister got a brand new room when Matilda was born & we have been looking at re-doing Matilda’s room to make it “new” & just as special as she is. This give-away would help us immensely & I just know Matilda would love it!!!

  18. says

Ooh pick me, pick me. As the Mum of 4 feral, um, gorgeous boys, I would love to win this for my nieces,
Lulu, Ally & Evie. That would make me the favourite Aunt for sure.

  21. says

My youngest daughter is busy “planning” out her new room, tyring to shed the “little girl everything pink and fluffy image” and come up with a more sophisticated but yet still girly look. She is developing quite a vintage style and is trying to combine some old with new, Down That Little Lane remains a constant source of inspiration for her this room would be the perfect ‘platform’ for her. Thanks for the opportunity to enter such a great competition, good luck everyone x

  22. Serena Hancock says

I have three precious little girls that love frills, pink and all things nice! This beautiful room would certainly help me decorate their room! They and i would be so thankful x

  24. says

Ooh! What a treat, Katrina. Thanks for the chance. I would love to win this for my 4½ daughter, India.

For 2 years, she shared a room with her big brother. Now she has her own room. I really try my best to make it a pretty haven for her but we’re living on a single income so it’s tricky. This would really personalise her room so much more and make her unbelievably happy. J x

  25. Katrina Kerkow-Hill says

@katrinas_tweets  I would like to win this for my 2 yr old daughter who has never had anything new. All her clothes & toys etc have always been hand me downs. This prize would stay hers through all the years ahead, a truly special gift to be cherished.

  26. Sarah Read says

    What a wonderful idea Katrina!

I would like to win this prize on behalf of my best friends daughter Charity (5) who currently shares a room with her mum. This photo just SCREAMS Charity’s personality & spirit and it would wonderful for her to enjoy her own personal space. And I am sure Mum would LOVE to have her bedroom back.

  27. Emily says

Wow, this prize is amazing. My daughter would love this prize and so would I. Since getting her a new bed we haven’t got around to buying her a matching bedside table. The poor child has her lamp and tissues on the ground next to her bed. This bedside table would match perfectly and the other accessories are just divine too!

  28. Sarah says

My daughter will be 2 in December, she would love a room full of pretty things like this, we walk past the shops with beautiful rooms made up and she says “pretty, pretty” and points at them.
She recently got a new brother in our home & shes struggling with the shared attention, its difficult to get her to walk anywhere lately because she wants a “cuddle” so we have to carry her (& shes been walking since she was 10 months old. I think getting a new “pretty” room would help to know she is as special as we think she is!

  29. says

id love a chance to win!! I dont have a little girl but my niece or god-daughter would love this room!!! ‘Down that Little lane’ is a great site – i bought an ottoman for my boys room and the seller was awesome!! gorgeous things on offer!

  30. Amy says

We are about to renovate but only have enough money to do the back of the house (not the room my 2 girls share) – this would make them feel so special!!

  31. Natalie B says

I have promised my eldest daughter that she will finally get her own bedroom this Christmas, after years of sharing with her little sister. What a wonderful surprise this would be for her!

  32. Tash says

Um wow! What an incredible prize! My daughter is just about due to upgrade her toddler bed, being on the 90th percentile and all, for her height! Plus I’ve never entered an online comp before, how cool to actually win my first one ha! :) Tash xx

  33. Erica says

I would get it for my niece, don’t have any children of my own… yet! It’s her 3rd birthday soon and I’m sure she’ll love it!! :)

  34. Virginia Mason says

These Down that Little Lane would be shared with my daughter and son,
and would add delicious pops of colour, style and lots of fun!
My daughter (2) is due to move to a big girl’s bed,
and Habitat Sheets are gorgeous in this organic thread.
The Incy Bedside Table in white is just devine,
they are definately a favourite store of mine.
The Poppy Studio Prints would add a finishing touch,
with the fitting words – ‘I love you really much!’.
I have just given birth to a handsome baby boy,
and a Monkey & Me Sock Monkey would make a perfect cuddling toy.
And finally the Bohemian Living Moroccan Pouffe in blue,
would set a colour scheme for his nursery and be wonderful to sit and play on too!

  35. says

I’d love it. I’d have to split it between my girls 6 & 8. I hope that it’ll make them a little more motivated to keep their rooms clean. Rachel x

  36. Jacki says

We’d love to win this stuff for our daughter,
Who’s still in the cot that we bought her,
    She’s three years of age,
    It’s time for a change,
So help us Katrina and Down That Little Lane!
    xx

  37. Megan Anderson says

My 6 yr old niece would love the ‘rainbow’ colour scheme. Rainbows are her favorite drawing subject because ‘life is a rainbow’ when you are 6!!

  38. leonie says

Have two little granddaughters who would love a new pretty room- especially as bubs number 3 is due soon and their mum is going to so busy with 3 under 3!

  39. Marnie says

I’d love to win this for my niece Lexi as I am a really bad aunty who doesn’t visit or pay her enough attention. I think I’d earn my way out of the bad books big time and into favourite aunty position quick smart if I gave her this gift!!

My two year old has just gone into her big girl’s bed and her room is looking very bare. I would love give her a beautiful big girl’s room from Down that Little Lane. She would love it and so would I.

  44. Lisa says

I would love a beautiful room for my 17 month old daughter Matilda. It’s very plain at the moment and ‘Down that Little Lane’ has beautiful things that we would cherish. :-)

  45. Leanne O'Neill says

My house is filled with lots of noise!
    3 boys to be exact
    So when i fell pregnant
With this baby, i made a pact.
    If i was so lucky,
to add a girl to our mix
I promised her id shower her in colour
Pink and yellow would do the fix!
And whilst our days were filled with footy,
And I wouldnt have it any other way,
Along came a little girl, to brighten up our days.
So why would i love this room?
    So pretty and sweet?
    To spoil the little girl
    Who made our family complete..

  46. Christine says

I would love to win this for my granddaughter Bella, aged four. Bella’s mum is a single mum, and to give her a break, Bella comes to stay at our house each weekend for a night. We have put together a room for her, so she feels special when she comes over, with bits and pieces from here and there. I love reading to her as she snuggles in her bed, and love her cuddles as she whispers “I love you Nanny, and thank you for my wobbly bed”.

  47. says

Hi Katrina, I would love to win this room for Miss B. She is a sweet girl, the middle child. The one who holds onto a hug for that bit longer than the boys. The one who always laps up any extra attention that comes her way but never demands it. She is at that tween stage, still holding onto some of her girly things but wanting to be cool and funky at the same time. This room fits the bill so well. Sweet doona, funky rug and pouff. It’s a room for a girl to feel special in. Thanks for the opportunity, Deb.

  48. Karyn says

Gosh what amazing competition I have.
Well this is our story. We have a son with Autism and we have spent the last 3 years and all our savings to provide his with therapy to teach him to speak, interact, and get him into school. It has been long hard rewarding road and we finally got there this year. We have no house, large debts, old furniture but we have a son who is amazing and now has a future. We have also been fortunate after 7 years to get pregnant again with a little girl named Annabel. She is such a welcome light in our lives and has provided our family a new light. She is just lovely and I would love to be able create a beautiful room for her. Down that little lane is a beautiful website and every time I look I just wish I could afford to buy but I can’t. So that’s our story.. we would love to win and thanks for creating such a lovely company – it’s just lovely just to even look. Fingers crossed we get over the line.

  49. Caroline Kelly says

My best friend’s daughter has just turned five years’ old.

Her life has not always been easy: health problems, separated parents, and intermittent moving.

Having a beautifully and thoughtfully decorated room that can incorporate, or become, her personal santuary, where she feels comfortable – and safe – can help her better adjust to new surroundings.

  50. says

If I won this gorgeous prize it would go stright to my middle daughter who is 9, she needs a room makeover her older sister got one last year and well her little sister has a lovely room, I feel for her so dont want her growing up with nay kind of middle child syndrome(lol), No Jan Brady for her. So that is who and why I would love to win this amaxing prize

  51. Cheryl M says

I would love to win this for my granddaughter who will be 5 on 26th December, at the moment she is sharing a room with her little brother, but this is about to change and she would really love this truly girls bedroom

  52. Rachel T says

I’d love to win this for my little girl! All her furniture is hand me downs from her older brother and she’ll be moving into her own room soon (they share at the moment but I can see it’s time for her to have her own room soon!) It’d be really lovely for her to have some brand new furniture that’s just hers!

  53. Linda Coull says

Three little girls at our house. Three little blonde, blue-eyed girls. Each of them is special in their own way. I love them all “really much”. And when their Dadda makes their beds he always mixes the bed linen up which looks kind of funky in a mismatched kind of way. But Isla May, who came second, likes everything in order and everything matching and everything blue. She would love this but her sisters would too xxx

  54. Fi says

for my daughter Bella, because she cracks up if everything she has isnt pink. (there have been a few disagreements when getting dressed in the morning) This was definitely not encouraged by me as I swore I would not buy pink things for my girl, instead some funky colours….shows how much choice a mum gets….its a good thing she looks good in pink! I love it here with the blue (my favourite colour :)xx

  55. Jo says

Ahhhh….the drum room has finally been relocated to the garage, freeing up the spare bedroom for our grandson for sleep-overs. He is still young enough to be un-self-conscious enough to love pink, and the beautiful white Bedside table is timeless and would suit the room perfectly. Thanks for the chance to win, and I also have liked Little Lane!

  56. Alison says

My little girl has just turned 6 and needs to have her room updated to a big girls room. As money is tight this would be the best possible present for her for Christmas. Such a wonderful gift of love.

  57. Sandy says

I would love to give this to my gorgeous 7 year old daughter Laci. She has just given up her much bigger and cooler room to her little brother Griffin. She has given up so much for him, but she did it so gracefully. Griffin is 3 and has severe cerebral palsy. They love each other very much!

  58. jodi says

  59. Kirsty says

My Miss Olivia (almost 3) has just moved into her ‘big girl bed’ aka her sister’s ‘hand me down’ bed. All ‘little ladies’ should experience beautiful things, as they’re made from “sugar & spice and all things nice”. Just like Down that Little Lane :)

  60. Shibrone Campbell says

I would love to win this for my Mum and Dad. They lost their home and everything in it due to a house fire a few months ago. I would love to be able to furnish their Grandaughters room once they rebuild. Something to lift their spirits a little, and a girly haven for my 3 daughters and my niece when they visit Grandmum & Bumpa.

  61. Michelle says

I would love to win this for my little girl <3 She is 7months old and these wonderful prizes would look fab in her room! Very stylish! :-)

  62. Belinda W says

I would love to win this for my 2 year old daughter Lucy. As I read all the other stories above I feel a pang of guilt about entering when so many others sound like they need this…. However what can I say other than I would love to win for no other reason that it’s so fresh from the pink overload that my little girls room is at the moment!

  63. Hayley H says

A doona to snuggle down in tight,
a beautiful sidetable for a night light,
a pouffe to stand on when sock monkey gives you a fright.
The prints and elephant make this prize just right………

Thankyou for the opportunity to win such a beautiful girls room.

For the ‘inner child’ of my A grade teenage daughter.
Who never strays and who just studies endlessly.
    Just re-adjusting after a family break-up.

  66. Laura says

I would love to win this for my daughter. She is nearly 18mths old and will be soon moving into her big bed and I am wanting to make her room extra special! Winning this pack would do just that :) :)

  67. Jo says

This is such a gorgeous prize! My 3 year old would love this room, but I think we would both love it more if it went to a little girl in need.

  68. Naomi says

My Sam dreams of her own room now she is “grown up” (she’s 5). Her wish list: no dinosaurs, no brothers, must have favourite colours ‘pink’, ‘aqua’ and ‘rainbow’, a dog and a duck and books. Other than the missing duck (I’m sure I could talk her into a monkey and elephant instead), this room came straight out of my daughter’s wildest fantasies! What a Spin out!Im hoping that’s a sign she’s fated to win!

  69. says

I’m planning a room makeover for my kids’ shared room. My 5 year old daughter shares with her little brother but I think these pieces would work perfectly for her part of the room and I’m sure they would both love the pouffe!

  70. Lidya says

I’d like to win this for my niece, also my god daughter.
Why do I want to win it? She became my god daughter while we are apart.
I only see her every 1-2 years at most.
She’ll be over the moon when she gets these and she’ll know that even though we are not together, I still think of her.

  71. Maryanne Davies says

My babies are sharing a room and we are renovating….would love this for my daugthers room when the extension is finished as im not sure how much money left for decorating there will be…..and its just so pretty!

  72. says

Every girl needs a place to sparkle and shine, grow and be beautiful. This room totally reflects this and I would love to win this for my 7 yr old daughter as this place. Thank you for the opportunity.

  73. Debbie-Lee Sorensen says

My sweet little Elodie has grown up in a drawer in our room, padded and warmed in old jumpers and wadding. She’s outgrowing the drawer and is now moving onto a soft downy bed of grass and leaves in the corner.

Whilst she’s loved and ever so happy, you can imagine her delight at the prospect of her very own bed! :)

  74. Gemma Smith says

A beautifully decorated room, for my beautiful baby girl ‘to be’ in 3 months time :)
No better way to start her life, then being surrounded by a creative and imaginative nursery.
    xx

  75. Tori says

My 9 year old who is a real girly girl, has always had hand me downs from her older sister & her room is full of bits of this & bits of that! It would be a dream come true to have a nice new matching bedroom as she spends so much time in her room playing!

  76. Nicole Gurman says

    Sweet as a peach
    My daughter
Who loves the finer things in life
    From Down the lane
    No Dirt in site
A pretty bright room from Katrina

  77. Kristie says

I imagine myself placing a cup of water on the Incy Interior bedside table as I pull up the Pouffe from Bohemian Living and take a seat next to my daughter, Peyton. As I pull up the Habitat Doona Tucking her in for the evening, I sneak a peak of her Sock Monkey which she is cuddling tight. I begin to read her a story as she looks up at the wall seeing her prints from Poppy Studio and her dreams begin and she drifts comfortably and safely off to sleep in her new room. That is exactly why I would love to win this prize.

  78. says

Unlike many of the entrants above, we are yet to have a little girl in our life. We are surrounded by nephews and friends with sons but one day soon… we hope to bring a little girl into our life through intercountry adoption. It is still a little way off until that day, although I am hopeful that we may receive news next year and our wish to become a family will come true.

In the mean time, I can only envisage the little girl with brown hair and big chocolate eyes that I see in my dreams and what joy a beautiful bedroom like the one above will bring to her. One day. :)

  79. Eva Kiraly says

My niece has just recently moved in with her father after her mother passed away, they’re doing ok but I think this setting would make her feel more at home per seh.

  80. Imogen says

My little girl first slept literally under a desk in our spare room when we came home from hospital, and since then has moved to the study nook for awhile during renovations and now in a half painted, bare and boring room. These beautiful pieces would finally create her own little haven to both stimulate and soothe, inspire and encourage.

  85. says

I would love to win this for my big girl Airlie Fae, she is the only girl in our family (like I was too)and she loves all things girly. We say we are sisters as neither of us have a sister and she would LOVE to have her bedroom made over.

  86. Belinda says

I would love to win this for a best friend’s little daughter. She gave birth to her daughter E at 24 weeks, she has had a rough trot through life and is only near 3 years of age. She was living in the ICU for the first year of her life, on oxygen tanks and now has psychology weekly plus walking/talking and general other assistance classes.

Due to this the family have lost a big chunk of their income supporting their only daughter when it comes to medical expenses. Her room is not a safe haven and is currently filled with the bare essentials. I would love to sneak in and do up her room and make E, our little miracle, smile.

  87. says

Its like you read my thoughts! You appear to grasp a lot about this, like you wrote the e book in it or something. I think that you just can do with some percent to force the message house a bit, but other than that, that is magnificent blog. A fantastic read. I’ll definitely be back.

  88. BossyMummy says

This is just gorgeous. I would love to win for my future daughter (please God, let there be a daughter somewhere for me :) ) but in honesty, it would be for my beautiful goddaughter Lahra – but in more honesty, I would procure the Moroccan pouffe for me…… And not tell her about it – surely that’s ok??????? :)
