What’s your favourite colour combination?

I can never decide! I’m playing with colours all day long when I am designing blogs and I love so many combinations, but when it comes to my own blog, facebook page, logos etc, I am hopeless at deciding what I like!

Do I like black or grey?

Do I like bright or pastel?

Do I like citrus or moody?

So many options, so many combinations! It’s like choosing a dress or a pair of shoes.. which shade, which style, how will that look with that?

I loooove trialling new combinations. What’s your fav?

PS. I’m in love with December. Today we are putting up the tree. My boys have watched Christmas movies all week. I’ve been a bit sick with Crohn’s this week so I am skipping a Christmas party tonight. Alcohol has gone out the window for me lately. I probably won’t have a drop over the festive season. I won’t miss it (I think!). I’m due back in Melbourne in a week for a Doctor’s check-up after my meningitis scare. Yesterday I saw my local Doctor and I’m back on antibiotics as I still have an infection somewhere and am still not 100% after all of that. It’ll be a quiet Christmas for me, but I’m ok with that. It’s all about my boys anyway…

Happy weekend x

    I love colours!
My favourite colour combination from childhood is pink & blue.
And my blog is always includes some kind of pink.
When asked what is her favourite colour, my Miss 4’s always says, “Rainbow colour!” I think she’s onto something.

I love experimenting with color combos. At the moment, my christmas theme (decerations, wrapping paper etc) is hot pink, aqua and line green, very fresh and modern.
I also love greys and once our house is bulilt, it will feature a grey theme that I Can add color via cushions, wall art, rugs etc.
My favorite color to wear is pink or yellow

My home is filled with pastels, but my blog is bright and sunny. I am hopeless in making a solid decision – I like to keep things fresh and updated.

Cream white, Seaglass & Coral – pretty obvious for me I know but hey, that’s the combo I’m loving at the moment.

    Happy weekend!

At the moment I am working on logos and colours for my new little business venture and I have decided on kelly green and a soft grey. I’m loving bright greens at the moment. And a touch of yellow. Although this year I’m doing the Christmas table in aqua and pink. Maybe I need to put cocky cushions on the seats! I just love putting two colours together and making them sing! Take care with your health. My husband has just been out to get the tree and the house smells gorgeous! It IS all about the kids, so sit back, relax and enjoy.

    Treen,

I love your variation on the colour wheel. I’m a little like you, when it’s for me, I can never decide! I’m really good with clients, turns into work then and it just happens. Have fun at your auction ‘sticky beaking’! Hope you are feeling a little better as it gets closer to Chrissy?

    Have a good weekend.

Hey Jode, I went to your Illeura house’s today and then the auction for the 2 semi’s in Fox Street. Just cruising around today checking everything out! Hope you’re having a nice weekend!

Hot pink and orange always gets me! I love they Caribbean colour ways of greens and blues, pinks and yellows, pinks and oranges. They just seem to get the tones just right.
In my home I like the soft aquas, pinks and creams. In clothing I love camel, grey and cream.
I guess there aren’t too many colour combinations I don’t enjoy!!!

Don’t make me choose! Gaah! I am hopeless. Too many choices! I am partial to soft greys and whites at present. Calming my frazzled nerves I think!
I hope your health issues get sorted real soon. I have had surgery this week and am always inundated with some health thing or another. I am proud of you for kicking on though! You busy gal!
    Cheers!

    Hi Katrina,

Great post on colour. As an artist, I am faced with colour choices all the time. I keep my palette largely similar throughout my work (pastel pinks, yellows etc), but my favourite colour combo is pink and orange. It is so striking in an artwork.

I hope you are feeling better really soon. Merry Christmas from your newest follower. Take care,

    Kim. x
