Tongue in Chic [homewares and decor] represents the creative expression of graphic and surface designer Simone Fox [Massa].
Simone’s passion for art and craft started from early childhood and it has always been her lifelong dream to follow a career path involving these mediums. After working some 15 years in the graphic design industry, then a stint in publishing involving home decorator and lifestyle magazines, Simone has gone on to pursue surface design as a means to designing for interiors.
Her love of the beauty of nature, colour and pattern and admiration for handmade products has led her to create her own collections of gorgeous artful pieces to bring into the lives and homes of others, the result of which is a charming range of contemporary and eclectic homewares, decor and artworks.
Simone designs, hand-prints and hand-makes all her products [she don’t make the tea towels though – just design and print those]. She is a one-woman operation.
Simone will be holding a stall at the Boutique Markets on May 24 at the Paddington Town Hall in Sydney.
