Stunning Sunday: Decadent Renovated Church in Queenscliff VIC.

main

Today for my Stunning Sunday post I have found a fascinating renovated church for sale in Queenscliff VIC. Built in 1888 this church has been beautifully revitalised, with the perfect blend of gothic and contemporary features.

“Gloriously highlighted by artful architecture, a massive circular leadlight window reflects daylight in resplendent colour throughout the home. Vaulted timber ceilings soar above Baltic pine floors contrasting with the clean lines of a new modern interior.

Spacious open dining and living centre around a designer kitchen with Corian benches, pull-out pantries, integrated dishwasher, extra large self-cleaning oven and sleek ceramic induction cooktop.
Three bathrooms each contain double waterfall vanities, walk-in shower stalls, heated towel rails and automated temperature control. They service three bedrooms that all have walk-in robes, with the master bedroom luxuriously occupying the entire top floor.

Outdoors, an extensively paved area is dappled by sunlight and secured from the street by a tall picket fence. At the rear, the undercover area could make a charming garden room.” – Agent

I love the vaulted timber ceilings and how they blend so well with such a modern light interior.

Oh I adore this. The Methodist minister that married us and his wife (who were like my 2nd parents) had a close family connection to Queenscliff Vic, and I just know this church would have been an important part of their life. What a stunning transformation of a beautiful building. Great find Katrina, this made my day 🙂
