Happy New Year folks! I hope 2016 brings the change you’ve been hoping/looking for and life is being good to you. I am having a lovely break away from my normal routine. We head home tomorrow – not that I am sad about that because I love my home, but I have really enjoyed the poor (and lack of!) wifi and no distractions. I haven’t felt like blogging, or hanging out on social media this week. I’ve been enjoying my family and the outdoors. It’s been prefect weather here as you can see! We have been so lucky.

A few years ago I stopped making new year resolutions. I never stuck to them and I decided that any date of the year was a good time to make a change. I just want 2016 to be a year of soldiering on – getting on with things and moving forward. I am happy to go with the flow and be positive. Are you making resolutions this year?

This is my 82 year old father-in-law playing tennis with the kids! We’ve loved having Poppy with us on holidays this year.

Fishermen in the making. Although we haven’t had much luck with the fish! I even went out in the boat for the day and we only caught one! Where are they all hiding??

We’ve had to take regular walks to move all the food and drink. OMG, I am going on a lettuce diet when I get home!

Caravan parks are just the best fun. We’re thinking of somewhere different next year – any recommendations? In NSW 🙂

Got to love a fireworks display on the beach. How cool.

Hope you’re feeling good about 2016. Thanks so much to you all who visit me here often. I am so happy you do! I have heaps to come for 2016, so I’ll be back blogging as normal very soon.
