Some photos of things from around my home

I haven’t posted much from around my house in a long time. Just wasn’t feelin’ it. You know how it gets! So here are some pictures of some of my stuff. I’ll give you a tour of my new bed-head when I finally finish it. So far Aqua is winning followed by Fuchsia! Have you voted? Click here to see what I’m talking about…

I’m leaning towards Fuchsia or even Yellow.. gasp! I know! I have so much aqua in my house already. I have aqua cushions on my lounge, aqua vases… but I do love it. Hmmmm.. decisions! Amie is currently making a bed-head too. yeah, we do everything together. Hers is out of hessian. I’ll get some pictures for you when it’s done.

My littlest kid starts big boy school today. I am going to be emotional! This is a big step for our family. My eldest will be 10 in a few weeks so I’ve been the ‘carer’ for so long. My husband says time for a job Katrina. Ha! See that, I laughed. Haha.. still laughing! No, really, I have contract work all year, so I’m looking forward to 2012. Bring it on!

This means tomorrow’s blog post will be the obligatory school photos of my boys 🙂

You have so many beautiful things! I just love your birdcages and the wire basket. Gorgeous! Did you know I collect paperweights? I have around 60 and some ate about 150 years old! X

Katrina your things are so special, love everything. Even though I really have a phobia where birds are concerned I adore the bird cages. Those kitchen stools are gorgeous. Good luck to both you and your baby boy today. Make the most of your first free day ..

Hi Katrina, I’m hoping to have birdcages as posisble centre pieces at my wedding. Do you have any recommendations for where I could find some?

Ideally I’m wanting white or silver ones, but I suppose I could spray paint them if they were a different colour.

  Yes, paint them. I painted 2 silver. I sprayed them actually. I bought them both from the Reject shop!

i want all of your things.
i have my eye on a lime green 3 tier bird cage….at the moment.
i walk past it almost every other day. i should just go layby it.

love seeing first day school pics. as it is very exciting to watch the youngest go to school as they seem to so want to go…..more so than when the others went

Hope this morning has gone well. I think the worst time when your youngest starts school is when you leave the school yard and you don’t have that little hand holding yours when you walk out. Crikey, I’m tearing up at the thought of it now.
Anyway, I’m loving your old glass bottles! I’m a little bit old glass obsessed, hence my little business venture. I just need to get my girls back to school so I can get cracking on the candle making!

Nice shoots! It looks like you love collecting old stuff.. I think it is great! I love you birdcages.. Did you create it my yourself? And where is your bird?
