Hey there! Today I have a really easy Christmas project you can whip up in no time. Make your own Christmas Tree on a chalkboard wall using Scotch® Expressions Washi Tape! It’s so easy – you can be as creative as you like, for little cost. All you need is a chalkboard wall, a roll of washi tape and some chalk!
I have a chalkboard wall in my laundry area (well a room we use to enter through the garage in to the house). I have always had fun with this wall – my favourite time was when I told my kids quite clearly what the school holiday rules would be (they didn’t think it was as funny as I did). 🙂

What you’ll need:
- Chalk (you can even draw coloured decorations)
- A selection of Scotch® Expressions Magic™ and Scotch® Expressions Washi Tape (you can buy from Officeworks or Big W and from Warehouse Stationery in New Zealand ).
Simply rip the Scotch® Expressions Washi Tape and place on your chalkboard wall like so…
Get busy drawing on some tinsel and decorations…
Ta-dah – anyone can make this tree. The washi tape peels off easy too so you could try any wall really. If you have kids who love craft, then they can do this project all on their own too.
