Have you seen my new bright coloured car? I have been cruising around in the new Ford EcoSport! Whheeeee…
As a part of Kidspot’s Hall of Fame Bloggers, I get to try lots of cool new Fords. I’ve been so used to driving the Kuga lately, but to get this little beauty for a few weeks has been fun.
It’s been anywhere and everywhere here in Wagga Wagga. I’ve had it at footy training, in Canberra, in Albury, at the supermarket, at school pick up… Here come’s Katrina in the red car!
I’ve found it to be awesome. It’s still small enough to zip around and park easily, but it’s a little higher off the ground so I felt safer.
This EcoSport is the Titanium model with all the mod-cons eg. cruise control, reverse sensors, good leg room, electric windows the awesome SYNC technology. I have the SYNC in my Kuga too and I would be lost without it. It’s all voice-activated Bluetooth and it reads your text messages out to you so no eyes off the road!
I took it to my sister’s new building site. We whizzed around the streets looking at houses and checking out her new home. She loved the car and wants one! The fuel efficiency was amazing. I’m not just saying that. It was better than my Kuga, so that was a big plus.
I needed to deliver this little cupboard to my Mum, and with two easy moves, the seats lay down fully and in she went! My 12 year old even did it for me.
I used the car so much, that I was scrambling to get it clean before its return, so a quick wash was in order…
My husband drove and I took photos. He loved the little car! He had the music so loud in the car listening to Sir Mix A lot’s “Baby Got Back” that everyone was smiling and staring at me taking the photos. Who knew car washes could be so fun?? 😉
Clean as a whistle and such a fresh, fun colour.
Whilst I was spoilt for a few weeks with a brand new car, I’d love to spoil one of my readers too. Just for being so awesome, and thanks to Kidspot and Ford Australia, I’ve got a $500 Temple and Webster voucher to give away to one lucky reader.
