Oregano + Tea Tree Oil for your health

You know that recently I have been using essential oils. For me, it was just a given after years and years of being unwell. I really needed something else in my life . I needed to make some changes. Mostly, I am interested in the low-tox living side of things. That meant, using natural smells around my home, on my body and for cleaning. Those small changes DO make a huge difference. I am not 100% toxin free the home yet, but I sure have reduced the toxic load dramatically.

Personally, I am feeling better than I have in years.

So, on top of just using essential oils for cleaning and making my house smell nice, I came across the massive benefits of using 2 simple oils for not only cleaning, but for my immune system. I’ve had Crohn’s disease for 23 years and recently had permanent colostomy surgery.

Oregano + Tea Tree Oil

Anyhoo, take a read of these oils, then watch the really short video just so YOU can get your head around WHY they are extremely useful.

Tea Tree Oil– A strong antibacterial that has antiviral and anti-fungal properties. Good for killing mould and mildew and for disinfecting surfaces. Tea tree is a volatile essential oil derived mainly from the Australian native plant Melaleuca alternifolia. It’s been widely used throughout Australia for at least the past 100 years and for over seven decades, it’s been documented in numerous medical studies for its ability to kill many strains of bacteria, viruses and fungi.

Oregano Essential Oil– Antibacterial, anti-fungal, antiviral and antiseptic properties. Oregano oil is a powerful, plant-derived essential oil that may rival antibiotics when it comes to treating or preventing various infections. And oregano essential oil is unlikely to cause many of the harmful side effects that are commonly attributed to high use of antibiotics — such as increased risk for antibiotic resistance, poor gut health due to destroying beneficial probiotic bacteria, reduced vitamin absorption and leaky gut syndrome due to damage of the GI tract’s lining.

Tea tree oil and oregano oil are being used along with conventional medications because they too serve as powerful antibacterial agents, without the adverse side effects. *
