My top 10 things last week

1. I had a last minute day off work. This meant home alone for the first time in years.
2. Snakes do not belong inside my work.
3. 3 little boys with fresh haircuts make me smile.
4. Ugly people should not wear t-shirts saying “I look better naked.” My stomach turned, but it made me laugh too.
5. My husband keeps getting better and funnier. Nothing stresses him. He puts up with a lot, but he still keeps a happy face.
6. Anaesthetic and painkillers are funny sometimes. I got the giggles up a few times this week, but really I shouldn’t have.
7. My in-laws having dinner at our house caused me to kick my husband under the table several times because he just can’t let them be elderly.
8. New friends are good to have, old friends are even better.
9. Being given news about something I was secretly stressing about without even having to ask. The world works in a funny way.
10. Rain is heaven and it has put a spring in my step. My garden is happy.

So how was everyone else’s week?

I so enjoy reading your blog Katrina! I love the new header too 🙂

I found the last point very ironic, because this week the UK seems to have emerged from a long and very very cold winter at last!!!! So I have had a spring in my step because the sun has been shining in cloudless blue skies, with a hint of warmth for the first time since October! I find that my soul just lifts as soon as the sun comes out, even if I have a crazy few weeks ahead with work and assignments and all kinds of worries, they somehow seem managable in the sunshine 🙂

Keep up the good blog work! xx
