Hi there! How’s the week been? Well I have almost made it through the school holidays unscathed. They haven’t been too bad this time around. My boys have spent a lot of their days with their cousins and other kids building a cubby in the bush. I am so impressed with their skills! It’s turned in to a 2-story fort and it can fit about 10 kids! They wake up every morning asking when can they go and meet everyone. They just pop back home from time to time for something to eat or to use the toilet. I am very happy they are doing these kinds of things in the holidays. The boys have kept themselves busy outside (yes, it’s been chilly at times!) almost every day. I must get up there and take a photo to share with you next week.
Today we’re heading off on a road trip thanks to Ford Mondeo to stay at Bright (in Victoria) for a few days. Then we’re going to Falls Creek tomorrow. It will be fun! Although I have heard there is lots of snow, it’s going to rain all day tomorrow. Awesome! NOT. We went there last year on this exact same weekend and it rained as well! Here are the photos from that trip. I went to Bright to speak at a thing thanks to Kim at Working Women Australia and we threw the trip to the snow on the end of it. We loved it so much we wanted to go again this year. I had just had a really nasty skin cancer removed and it was my birthday. How times flies! So, yes, that means I am having another birthday. It’s on Monday just incase you want to send me flowers ;). I’m on the uphill run to my 40’s now. Ouch! Hahaha just kidding! So, if it’s my birthday on Monday I hope you’ve got your birthday presents ready for me?? 😉

I’ve been watching a bit of the Country Music Channel lately. I do like a little bit of country now and then. It takes me back to my boarding school days and all of those B ‘n’ S balls I attended. Those WERE the days. Who remembers those?? Anyway, I have never seen so many beautiful women and so many men struggling with their feelings on CMC! Makes me giggle a little because that scene definitely has it’s own niche.
