It was a lovely Christmas Day at my house yesterday. I had 30-something people for lunch and everyone chipped in and helped, so it went smoothly! We even managed to get a family photo… it’s not often we get those! My brother has been overseas for almost 2 years so it was good to see him. Some of my cousins even came for lunch. Half of my husband’s family came too – so it was a good mix!

The kids had a ball. Lots of cricket and electric scooter riding. We hardly saw them all day!

Today I’ll be returning my house to normal with a bit of maintenance. Can I take the tree down yet? 😉

My middle boy is heading away with his cousins for a couple of days. He’s so excited. The dynamics of our house will be different! As soon as you remove one from the mix it all changes.

I am so glad to say that 2013 Christmas was excellent (except for the first 40 photos I took of the kids opening presents – no SD card in the camera!)…
