Hi there! Today I wanted to share an online linen shop with you – which I am in love with! Lauren, from I Love Linen, sent me a sheet set a couple of years ago and since then I have been hooked on all of her goodies! Recently Lauren launched a new range called The Bedroom Society and part of the new collection includes these cute watermelon and navy chevron pillowcases which have found their way to my bedroom (sorry husband, but the watermelons are just too cute!).
The Bedroom Society is a collection of bed sheets, duvet covers, cushions and pillowcases. Lauren’s design philosophy is about ‘playful restraint’; and she has focused on creating a range of classic french flax linen bedding that is simple and elegant in its design and has balanced this out with fun and fresh cushions and screen printed pillowcases that add a pop of colour. It makes it very easy to to instantly change how each linen piece looks depending on what you style it with.
Personally, I love all my bright cushions and pillowcases but I always like to set them against good classic bedding and pure linen is dreamy.
When Lauren was pulling the collection together it was very intentional to keep the bigger pieces neutral in design as she feels that a good quality sheet set or duvet cover should stay with you for a long time but you can keep changing things up with your pillowcases and cushions – and these are more affordable too in terms of updating your look. So while you will find that Lauren’s pillowcase and cushion designs might follow certain trends, her other bedding will remain classic – having that balance between the two.
