I’m living the dream here. You too? This keeps them happy though, so what am I supposed to do? Ha!
I’m not ready to go back to the school routine next week though. That’s an even busier time for us. I have kids at different schools and they play a lot of sport in different teams so then I am never out of the car. I quite like having the boys at home, but it’s certainly a different kind of busy around here at the moment. A messy busy!
But, I wouldn’t mind a break from the little angels. I have one child who isn’t sleeping at all at the moment (although last night was a bit better – see my instagram for the ongoing battle). We’ve all been there though! I even resorted to worming everyone (including the dogs). Gotta do what you’ve gotta do.
We’ve done just about everything there is to do – bowling, movies, laser tag… Yesterday I rang my sister-in-law and said can we please throw the kids in laser tag for an hour so we can go and eat some cake? I needed a serious sugar hit because I was so foul that you couldn’t even look at me. It did the trick though. 😉
My husband is taking the kids camping on the weekend and I am quite excited. The only thing I’ve been wanting to do is pull my wardrobe apart. I want to halve it. Seriously. I am going to attempt to halve my clothes. To tell you the truth I probably only wear a quarter of what’s in there. So that’s my mission.
Oh, and this is pretty exciting… I’m working with Aussie and YOU could win a $20,000 room makeover with me!! To enter just select the interior style in the colours you love and fill in your details here. I could be heading to your house in a few months to help you transform an entire room.
Even while the chaos of school holidays is going on around me I am still trying to work. It’s hard to stay focused when the fridge door is being slammed shut 40 times a day. Oh the bread and milk in my house…. outta control!
The thing I look forward to at the end of the day is a good dose of Nashville. That’s got me big time at the moment. Have you watched it?
Rightio, I’m off. Got to get some serious real-life stuff done before the kiddies get up and ask me “what can we do today?”.
