I don’t know where this year (in particular) has actually gone. I know I probably say that all the time, but I really do not know how I got to November. I am not ready for the Christmas hype. I am still trying to recover from a looong Winter.
I read something the other day about making a New Year’s Resolution. I was like, what the? I can’t be doing that just yet! I can’t even remember what I made last year, but it mustn’t have been very good because I don’t even know what it is (and clearly didn’t stick to it!). So don’t think I’ll be worrying about them next year.
Although I am looking forward to school holidays. That’s a first for me! Ha! I said to my friend today that I can’t wait to have my kids back, without any outside influence for a change. It’s been a rough couple of months for my teenager at high school. I’ve also learnt a lot this year about being a parent, and I think that’s a good thing. With the rough seas have come some real pivotal learning points and I am grateful for those things. We’re on the right path, I know that for sure.
Did you also see over my Facebook page that my sister, Amie, is having a new baby!? Yep, it’s growing already. She’s due end of May. What a lovely surprise. I says she’s crazy… haha… but that’s because I have an almost 14 year old! Can’t wait to share her journey with you all.
I know I need a proper holiday. I have one booked for Christmas and New Year. Maybe I’ll even take a blogging break – never done that before.
So, I am looking forward to a change in the calendar year. 2016 sounds better than 2015 doesn’t it. I am an “even number” kind of gal 😉 There will be a new baby in our family, Amie will also have a new house and I hope she comes to work for me on this little blog.
Is the end of the year creeping up on you too? ♥ KC.
