Good things on the internet this week

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by today…

Here are some cool things I found in my travels around the web this week…

Canva introduced new text elements – Have some fun with their new text and quote elements. Add these typographic overlays to your photos to create pro-looking graphics in seconds. I had a go at this and can’t believe how easy it is! Canva is actually a very awesome online photo editing platform. I did the below image using Canva (but you do have to pay $1 to use it).

GREAT

• Kmart is being awesome and has a new catalogue sale starting today with all of these new goodies!

• The new Feb/March edition of Adore Home Magazine is out! Read this one online.

• Here’s a great post from Amy Lynn Andrews on How to Make Money Blogging.

• I really love this Scandinavian Facebook page.

• Coco Republic is recruiting. So is Blacklist.

• This is not necessarily internet related, but did you watch I’m a Celebrity last night? Pretty cool how they will be using social media though don’t you think?

• How to easily get wax out of candle jars so you can re-use them.

There you go, that should get you busy for a while 😉

Have a great day! ♥ KC.

Great post! I’ve just spent my morning at Kmart. How great are the items in this month’s catalogue – making designer look pieces so accessible! Thanks for the link to Canna too – I just had a play around, it sure beats the other tools I’ve been using.

    Thanks KC!

That Kmart catalogue has me salivating. Some online shopping shall be done very soon. So much loveliness to buy. Probably a good idea we don’t have a Kmart anymore!

Oh thanks for the candles advice! I was wondering that in the weekend

I shopped up a treat this morning. I also grabbed a side table ……
I am about to go clean all my empty candle jars now

Thanks for sharing Katrina, I did a post on some items I bought at Kmart recently and had a message from someone saying that it was disappointing that I was buying ripoffs from major companies and not buying local made from local designers. Pffft. You can’t win them all. I’m sorry my wallet isn’t full of money. Thanks for sharing your fab finds.

Oh wow, that’s such a shame. I’m sure we can still buy both can’t we? Yes it always comes down to the $ for me too! X
