Floor Plan Friday: Scullery, triple car garage, IT nook

Here’s a floor plan that has it all! Triple car garage, massive master suite with bath, IT nook, a media room and a huge kitchen with scullery.

Every room in this house has good proportions. Nothing has been left out. I like the laundry position on the back.

It would be good if that 3rd garage had some more space for a rear roller door so you could access the yard.

There’s probably not quite enough storage in a house this size. I’d make sure that nook behind the scullery (across from the IT space) was cupboards.

The plan came from HERE. This plan was built as a display home so you can see photos over there.

What do you think about this one?

You must check out all of my other favourite floor plans (there’s so many!).

Bedroom 1 has an ensuite which is as big as the bedroom. This is a huge home.

Would love to see 2 story floor plans. In Sydney, it’s very rare to be able to get a block of land big enough to build a family hone like this on one level

If all of the bedrooms are occupied (by children, in-laws, or guests), having one toilet available for all of them is simply not enough. The house needs at least an additional powder room. There is no closet for guests’ coats (maybe no one wears a coat in Australia?). There is also almost no room for storage, outside of the scullery. Where does one keep the Christmas decorations and the camping gear when not in use? Unless the house has a basement or attic, it wouldn’t be very usable. I live in a house now with almost no storage so I’m keen to find a home that has adequate space to store a vacuum cleaner.
