Here’s a floor plan you might like today. Its focus is on the living/kitchen towards the front of the home with the bedrooms on the back. I know the living and lounge space is close together but some big french doors would be excellent in that area. Put some huge ceilings in this space and it would be very grand and open!
I quite like the laundry idea. I bet lots of you say no way! BUT, I envisage it behind some really cool bifold doors with big black handles. I’d hide it away so when you walk through the garage you’re walking through more of a mudroom/storage space. The other thing here is that you’d have to walk back through your garage and put the clothes line somewhere near bedroom 3.
There are multiple opportunities for outdoor living areas – whether that be off the living/dining and also from bedroom 1. Or even move it around to come off the lounge and also living space.
