Floor Plan Friday: An energy efficient home

Here’s a floor plan which will “provide optimal energy efficiency whilst at the same time offering a modern lifestyle with a variety of areas retreating or entertaining – all areas naturally linked together by sunlit breezeways.

This plan is a perfect layout for integrating the outside environment with garden beds situated all around the house. I like the good use of space with no waste anywhere. The Master is on the front, with the kids down the back.

Imagine where the sun will be throughout the day. Perfect all year round!

What do you think about this one?

I found the plan here. Don’t forget I have a whole collection of floor plans for you to look through. I have styling services too if you need a hand sorting through your own house build.

Should swap the master with the garage as that room will get very hot in summer.

Shouldn’t be too bad, that’s why the ensuite is there to block it. There’s a facade photo on the website and it looks great

Couldn’t think of anything worse…..4 kids walking through a clean hygienic kitchen with dirty soiled clothes! Imagine when it’s stomach bug season!

I love this one! We have a large bush block so it could suit that 🙂

We love this plan and seen it build quite a few times. Great use of space and the gardens will help cool the house in summer with cross ventilation.
The master would have morning sun, there are smaller windows to the north to control sun and yes the ensuite would block the hot western summer sun
We are excited you like it

Best one you’ve posted in ages. Wish I’d seen it when we built three years ago.
