Floor Plan Friday: Acreage style with 4 bedrooms, activity and study

It’s Floor Plan Friday and today I have this acreage style home with 4 bedrooms, activity area and study. It’s a pretty big home with everything you’d need. This would make a great forever home on some spacious land.

The back could face North and the morning sun would be beautiful through the activity/kitchen/dining area.

If you click over to the plan there are some variations where the home office becomes a 5th bedroom, the Master can be flipped (so the Ensuite is on the back) and a Butler’s Pantry can be added.

What do you think of this one?

Check out all of my other favourite floor plans over here. Be warned there are pages of them ha!

I have styling services too if you need a hand sorting through your own house build.

♥ KC.

Love that the kitchen isn’t in the middle of the house and can enjoy the northern sun… similar to how we have just designed our home✔️

Hi Katrina, I wondered if you’d ever looked into multi-generational homes? I’m starting to think about floor plans that have more than a guest room or “mother in law” suite; something that is almost a mini home within a home for when you want your elderly parents under the same roof, but everyone still has their privacy and independence. They can also be great for families with older kids with special needs who want to slowly transition to independent living. I haven’t seen many options for this in Australia though. Have you seen this done well anywhere?
