Floor Plan Friday: 5 bedroom, rumpus, scullery plus study

Hey there! Yep, this is a BIG plan. But every time I post a 5 bedroom plan people pin and save it like crazy so they are popular! I found it here. It’s grand and very spacious. I couldn’t use the 4 living spaces, so maybe the Living could be more Dining and I’d leave the Dining open space (then from the main entry you don’t walk straight into a table). What are your thought there? OR, the Lounge could be Alfresco and then tuck a pool right up outside the current Dining?

What do you think of this one today?

If you’d love to see more great floor plans then click here. If you have a floor plan you’d like me to look over before you build, you can buy my services then email them to me.

I will spend 2 hours looking over your plan and email back a detailed list of suggestions for changes (includes colour ideas). I can’t guarantee changes will be needed as your plan may already be perfect in my eyes. But for peace of mind I can either list some suggestions or let you know how jealous I am of your soon-to-be new home. ?

Needs a seperate toilet for those 4 bedrooms too.

It so needs a separate toilet up the kids end.

I really like the footprint of the house but I feel it is big just for the sake of being big! I agree with the comments regarding toilets 🙂

The laundry up there would drive me nuts! Perhaps a store/mud room then then laundry elsewhere.

Toilet/powder room at the front door – no thanks!

As much as I would love a bigger house (an ensuite would be a start!) that is just too much house. No one needs that much space!!! I do like the 3 car garage though. 2 cars and a camper trailer would fit nicely!

Like this plan. Your idea of the lounge being alfresco is wonderful. A beautiful round table with a standout piece on it opposite the entry would look great, until it became a clutter collection. Aw reality. I would eliminate bedrooms 4 and 5 as I don’t need them. But the study plus a rumpus room makes this a dream home.
