Christmas has exploded

I started something and I created a monster! I thought I might clean out the cupboards to start making way for all the junk and stuff that’s about to enter our house during the festive season. One thing turned in to another and now I have crap everywhere. No one loves our toys anymore so it’s time to give them away. My boys are too big for Thomas and Diego, so Amie’s kids will be getting some goodies. Somehow in all my house moving over the last 12 months I have lost a bag of decorations. The tree this year was soley decorated by the kids, the lights are woeful and the decorations are scarce… but they are happy and still loving the Christmas sprinkle in the house.

Yeah I know, how did I end up with all of these? I found them whilst culling. I know there are more… I was lucky enough to be given a few, but I think I’ll have a garage sale in the New Year.

So after the mess we created with all the culling and decorating, the boys wanted to write on Christmas cards for their friends. I let them do it all themselves. It was so hard not to try and take over!

And all on this day, I wore (not intentionally) some Christmas colours…

It’s officially the Christmas Season here in the Chambo’s house!

There is nothing more exciting than putting up the christmas tree with your kids. They dont seem to care about whether it is a designer tree from DJ’s or not, its creating the atmosphere and doing something together as a family that is important! I’ve moved 7 times in the last 12 years so I’m an expert at culling. In fact I am ruthless!I’d try and sell those items b4 christmas, someone might love them as stockung fillers!
