Baby voices and bad teeth

This is what I encountered this morning while braving our local mall or “The Marketplace”. I do NOT like this place. It’s dirty, smelly and feral. What was even worse is that I HAD to take my 3 children with me. Usually, if I have to go there I will not take them as it’s stressful and god knows I do not need additional reasons for high blood pressure (no I am not sick, it’s just that I can feel my blood boiling)! My boy’s are not happy to be nice and sweet. They run, wrestle and yell. I ignore them most of the time and pretend I don’t know them. I also attempt to lose them if I can, but they always find me. The want everything and wreck everything. They are old enough not to do this, but for some f**king reason they are like firecrackers as soon as we get down town. I only shop online these days but things like shoes and school uniforms require me to take the monster’s with me. Never again… (I should be realistic that I will have to go there again with them sometime…hopefully not until 2020??).
Anyway, back to the title of this post….baby voices and bad teeth….
Grown women talking in baby voices really gets “up my goat” (Kath and Kim style). Serving me and talking this way adds to my blood pressure issues. It makes me want to boom in my most masculine voice “YES, 3 STRAWBERRY MILKSHAKES”. Really, come on. Grow up. Smiling with a grating sing-song voice is not mature. Surely someone has mentioned you talk worse than a 2 year old! It ain’t cute and you weren’t cute.
This leads to my  next bit of beef….bad teeth. Oh these are not the yellow bad teeth…I’m talkin’ about the drug smoking, missing, and whistling type of teeth. Yep, these are the type of people you will find at our “Marketplace”. See today is Thursday and must be “Newstart Allowance” day…aka THE DOLE to me (because half of my bloody wage goes to these drug smoking time wasters so I really don’t like the system). Just to throw further insult – this was a woman I saw today! So I was irritated and annoyed. There are so many of them! And drug smokers can be spotted a mile away…derr.
Ok, so I had a crap morning…who doesn’t sometimes?
Now I will show you a pretty picture to lift my spirits as this saying is appropriate today I think. I had this framed last week and mounted in the kitchen area.

Have great day friends! xx
