At this time of the year, could you be any prouder of your children? They dance, sing, dress-up and we watch, beaming with pride. The school reports come home, their school books are here and they sit and tell you about every activity they’ve done in them over the year.
We now look to the future as a year has passed us by. 2012 is shaping up to be a cracker of a year! My baby will start big school and my eldest turns 10 in a few weeks. Where has the time gone?
This little dude above, Tex, is a funny kid. I love him to death. The middle child, over achiever and as stubborn as hell. But cheeky! He asked my brother yesterday, as loud as anything, “do you have a hairy doodle?” Monkey!
Today I am off to Christmas concert number 4 and the school swimming carnival. School finishes tomorrow and then it’s time to take a break. The best bit about Christmas? My husband takes a bit of time off (this is a man who only ever has about 10 days off at Christmas for the whole year. There is no time to take a break during the year when you have your own business.). He’s tired. It’s been a big year!
