Week 1 has almost finished in the school holidays. The weather has been a bit touch and go in Wagga! We’ve been trying to keep busy…
The boys have switched to cricket. Out with the footy, in with the bat! So funny. I’ve been taking them and their friends to the cricket nets for a hit.
Bear has been joining in… he runs and runs and doesn’t stop… then he crashes in the middle of the floorboards! Ha!
Chevy has had a vomiting/diarrhoea bug and has been down and out. He has no meat on him at all so it really took it out of him. Poor kid. I even had to lift him out of the bath. I hated seeing him like that. He’s picked up today though, so fingers crossed it doesn’t go through all of us. So while I’ve been at home with him I’ve been moving things around, as you do!
My fiddle leaf fig is doing well! I move it to a sunny spot in my kitchen every few days to give it a little lift. Fingers crossed it stays healthy! So many stories of them dying early on when you first buy them.
The sun was shining in my kitchen…
I got sent the coolest candle. Smells divine. It’s from here.
It’s been a funny week around here. I have been feeling so flat and not great, but I’ll bounce back. I have Orange is the New Black to start watching so I am excited about that. Have you seen it?
I had Tex’s eyes tested because he was obsessively blinking all of a sudden! Was stressing me out. Luckily it’s nothing to worry about as the Optometrist said it can be common for kids if they get over-tired. Their eyes can start a spasm and then it becomes a habit. So now we’re saying to him 20 times a day “try not to blink… try not to blink…”
Andrew is being tested for Ross River Fever. OMG. He’s been complaining of sore wrists and they get swollen occasionally. We thought it was a work related thing, but maybe it’s not. Doc wasn’t convinced so we’re waiting for those results. If they are clear, then he’ll have further scans.
I bought a spray tan machine. Andrew has taken it on as his personal mission to master the art of tanning me (I just say he’s a dirty old man ;)).
Big day tomorrow with the AFL Grand Final! Go Swannies! The husband is Swannies mad so of course he’s super pumped.
I went to a Look Good… Feel Better morning with Bec this week. Was good to see her happy. But of course she was the only 30 year old in that room. I knew she was a little wobbly when we first got there, but it ended up being great for her.
I just did a spot of online shopping to pick me up… ooops! Haha.
Happy Friday everyone. ♥ KC.
