So it’s been a little hectic around here… I can finally breathe a sigh of relief. The pool finally went in…
Husband’s grass has survived! It will be ok! And even with some water on it over the last couple of days it’s looking better.
The pool was dirty, and then it was clean and now we’re swimming in it! Next week I have a blog post going up on why I decided on this pool shape and you can see how it fits in my yard.
But over the coming weeks/months we have some SERIOUS landscaping to do! Deck, pavers, retaining wall, stacked stone, glass fence, new turf… argh! It’s freaking me out! But it will look good when it’s done (I bloody hope it does!). So stay tuned for all of that because of course I will be blogging all the DIY. No tradies (just my husband and I) on the rest of the jobs. Look out!
The kids have had enough of me and I have had enough of them. We’re taking them to the beach for a few days. I need to get away from this dirty, messy house for a couple of days. PLUS it’s Australia Day and it’s tradition to spend it with friends! What are you up to this long weekend?
I still love buying $5 Alid roses! And I have a new round mirror above. It’s pretty cute!
I got a new light from Loft Furniture. It’s huge and it’s so cool.
My baby is off to the dog kennels for a few days. I am not happy about it and he will be depressed, but at least he will be safe and looked after! He’s such a funny little thing. God I love that dog.
My eldest son (who starts highs school next week!) chases the sunsets on his bike. He is addicted to taking photos of them. Funny kid (soon to be teenager too!).
I hope you have a wonderful long weekend ahead! KC.
