Hi there! Thanks for stopping by today. It’s getting much colder here in Wagga. The jumpers have made an appearance, the kids are dragging blankets out to the lounge room and of course footy season has begun. The cricket kits have been packed away and out came the footballs. It doesn’t matter which code – my boys play anything and everything…
We decided to head to Melbourne on Sunday. I had to pop down to visit someone I had been working with, and we thought we’d all go and watch a game of footy while we were there. We had to pick the worst day for it! The rain, the wind and the general unpleasantness of it all…. Of course this would only happen to us haha! So to keep dry we had to sit in the nose bleed section.
There’s the rain. It was teeming down (and sideways!). We were dry thankfully, but FREEZING.
I told the boys before we left it’s going to be cold please wear pants. I got the “nah, we’ll be right” and who do you think complained the whole day? Those 4 above haha. I was sensible and wore pants!
Who is this?? My baby nephew. This is Amie’s boy Moss. He’s so BIG! He’ll be 1 next month. Can you believe it? I’ll smooch his face this Friday.
Beautiful sunrises and sunsets at the moment. Lots of farms are burning off so it makes for a spectacular view.
Picking and choosing with clients. I have a full 3 days ahead of more decision making. FUN!
These 2 kids above (and Bear) are never far apart.
This is Melville. Isn’t he a crack up! He jumped in all my photos when I was helping Hannah (the lovely lady who won a $20,000 room makeover) style up her couch area.
Here’s a bit of Hannah’s bedroom. I’ll put some more photos up on my blog soon. We’re just waiting on a final print.
I’m not a fan of cooking or baking. It’s just not my thing. I could eat the same thing on repeat every day so I am not very adventurous. I only cook for survival (because there are 4 males in my house!!). My this warm chicken salad above is a favourite of mine.
Here’s the recipe:
- Crumb some chicken breast, cook then dice
- Cooked some short cut bacon
- Add lettuce, corn, avocado, a little bit grated cheese (sometimes I use Parmesan), some of Changs crunchy noodles and few shallots
- I like the Paul Newman’s Ranch Dressing (my husband just likes mayo)
Hope you have a great week ahead. ♥ KC.
