Hi lovely friends! I haven’t had a chance to hang on my blog much this past week. I am in that zone where there are never enough hours in the day at the moment. Last night my big boy was at a party until 11pm so I stayed up and cleaned every corner of my house just so I could catch up, plus prepare for the busy days ahead. That is soooo not like me staying up late! I’m normally in bed at 8pm haha. Plus I am in between shows on Netflix and have no idea what to watch next. I just finished the American version of Shameless. It was excellent. The acting was phenomenal. It’s not for everyone as it’s a bit full on sometimes, but I was addicted to what was going to happen next. Have you seen it? I did start The Fall and it seems good so I might keep going with that one.
Here’s a photo dump from my phone on what’s been happening around here lately…
We decided on a last minute road trip to Canberra on Thursday. My husband said he’d take the day of work and the kids wagged school. We needed to head over there for a cricket bat. My big boy is taller than me and apparently when you get to adult sizes you need a specific bat!
Two hours later we finally picked a bat, 2 sets of pads, spikes, grips and a thigh guard (spread through my 3 boys!). Wow, that wasn’t cheap. I said they’d better get some bloody runs with all that gear they have! 😉
I wasn’t complaining though because then look where they let me visit! They sat and ate hotdogs while I pushed a trolley around. I got a new grey linen washed doona cover which I’ll show you soon. I love it!
Oh but the funniest part of the day – ummmmmm we bought a caravan! My husband said we were only looking, but nek minnit it’s on the back of the ute and we’re driving back to Wagga with it! So it’s mainly for the boys, but I might go occasionally with them. They are so pumped. It’s a ripper though. We’ve never owned a caravan before so this is a new thing. I might even like it!
I wrote a blog post last week on plants for your coffee table if you didn’t get a chance to see that one. I got these little pots for $4 from Bunnings.
There’s already been plenty of cricket to sit and watch. I love cricket season. I get right in to it.
My roses started! Just. It’s been about a month late, but now they are finally here. The weather in Wagga is still cold. Today it’s so cold and windy!
I bought a pineapple plant! It’s so cute. I haven’t even had time to put to somewhere so it’s currently on my back table waiting for a proper home. Hopefully I’ll get time tomorrow…
Just some photos above from around my house.
I’ve been busily helping clients with their new homes. This one is coming up well with the same tile on the floor through to the ceiling. It really packs a punch.
My little kid also plays league tag so here’s another one of my sideline views… ha! I am never off a sporting field I tell you.
So that’s about it for a while. Nothing too exciting around here. Just getting through the days.
