Hi there lovely people! How are you for a Monday? I actually like a Monday. Crazy aren’t I? But I live in a world where weekends are so busy that I long for a quiet Monday at home cleaning my house, doing the washing and working on my blog… You know what it’s like if you have kids who play sport or need you to be a taxi, or they generally take up every waking minute of your day! This past weekend would have to be one of my busiest. We had football grand finals out of town, presentation days and other sporting games on (AFL and touch). I need to catch my breath today. Here are some photos of what’s been happening around here lately…
Sometimes they do their homework without screaming and yelling.
But then they revert back to this behaviour…
My middle boy Tex in his grand final… Look at my prop? But he’s a gentle giant and hasn’t worked out how to use his size properly yet. He will! Oh and they won! Yippeee.
Chevy (on the right) won his grand final too! He’s little whippet haha.
My big boy Cruise is in the black hat. He won best back, plus he was Captain for the year so I am very proud of him! He’s taller than me now. Wow, I can’t believe how much he’s grown in the last 3 months. His shoes are bigger than his dad’s. He now has his AFL grand final this coming Sunday. Then after that we are free of sport (except for touch footy) for a few weeks until cricket and league tag starts! Argh.
But I did try hard to keep my house reasonably tidy amongst all the chaos. Bear finds a sunny spot.
Really?? How can that be comfortable? He was like that for ages.
Boss of the house. I’ve been locking him outside more often now the weather isn’t too bad and he hates it. Spoilt! But I am over animals in the house constantly. The kids say I am so mean haha.
Fluffed up cushions for 4 minutes. How good is it when no one touches them. Yes, I am realistic and most of the time I stack them away in my office…
A piece of $8 timber plus some stuff from around my house made me happy this week. My big boy brought out the dropsaw and ta-tah!
Trying to photograph my new black taps but this whole wall is mirror and the sun hasn’t been out, so I will try again today (selfie alert though!).
Wagga is looking good…
The amount of rubbish I’ve eaten in this past week has been pretty dismal. I am getting back on track today. I have probably eaten badly because when I was sick I didn’t eat much at all and now that I am feeling better I want to eat everything in sight!
I’ve just dropped my boys to school and I said get the bus home so Mummy can get some stuff done around here. Happy Monday. ♥ KC.
