Hello! Happy Saturday! Thought I’d do my usual check in, and photo dump on this fine (but yet again, WET and COLD Saturday)! My husband has been getting up at 5am every day this week because he is swamped with work, so even on this Saturday we’re talking to each other in bed at 4.30am (we could be sleeping in!). And you know me, once I am awake, my brain starts ticking and I need to get up. We have rugby league today and it’s our club’s duty day so I have a full day of helping and organising. I love it, really I do. People think I am crazy, but I love the club atmosphere, the people, helping the kids, going to meetings… Sometimes my husband says give the job to someone else, but nope, I’m stuck with it now… haha. Do you volunteer at a sports club?
Anyhoo, last time I checked in I was a little under the weather with some medical hoo-hah. As usual, there is always something going on with me. I’ve hit the antibiotics hard because I’ve had a low-grade fever for about a week, and I can turn septic (have done 4 times now!) really quick so I am trying to stay on top of this one. I don’t feel too bad, so fingers crossed I got this early. I need to see my gastro in the coming weeks, but I hope to stay out of hospital. You can read about some of those adventures (that’s one way to look at it!) here.
Here’s a dump of photos from my phone this week…
There was this incy glimpse of sunshine for about 15 minutes so I grabbed some vitamin D with Bear!
This. Around the outside of the footy fields. Good for the car isn’t it?? Oh and my washing machine has had a belting lately. I had to wash the guernsey’s 4 times, soak them again and then put back through the machine.
Here is a ridiculously gorgeous (and sometimes painful ;)) child I helped make!
It was snowing. I kid you not. It was falling on my windscreen. The poor kids. My boys could barely get themselves together. I don’t blame them! I know it’s a Winter sport and all, but this day was terrible. The car next to me got bogged and 6 blokes had to push the girl out!
Always the kids who says “I’m hungry” when you’ve packed up for the night and almost ready to head to bed.
A bit of new growth on my fiddle! In the Winter?! Must like this spot.
Ah yes, I feel a really good Spring clean coming on. Actually, I feel like I want to wash all my couches, get the carpets cleaned, do all my windows and shutters and I totally feel like re-freshening up all my gloss paint in my house. Loooooong story, but the painters did a terrible job when we moved in here, and I totally feel like I need to re-do it all again myself. Massive job, but I whinge about it all the time, so maybe I should just hook in and go for it. I am probably never going to though haha!
Always whizzing shakes up. It never stops! My kids are hungry hippos aaaallllll day long.
Except, this is one child’s dinner. He ate the corn…. Daily battle at your house too??
My favourite words to think about on the chalkboard. Sarah Prout teaches the goods.
Chopping vegies and doing homework. Whilst the lazy 3rd child plays xbox 😉
Last night, living it up. The maple syrup spilt all through the fridge, I vacuumed, folded washing and generally tried not to lose my cool. Living the dream. Who is sick of the clothes horse???
Have a great weekend. ♥ KC.
