Around here lately

Hello! Just a quick pop in today to give you a photo dump of what’s been happening around here lately…

How hot has it been where you are? I am melting in Wagga! It’s very very warm here. I am not complaining, because I love the Summer, but gee it’s hard watching your kids play cricket all day long when it’s 38 degrees! But then I think – would I rather a dance concert if I had girls?? My friends say no way! So I think I’ll take the cricket haha.

I haven’t thought about Christmas decorations at my house yet – this week I will. We’re away for Christmas and the New Year, so I am no over-doing it.

Here are some snaps from my phone…

I painted some pots. Did you see that? Maybe this could be an easy and cheap holiday project for you?

I’ve been getting my Summer colour on in the house – brightening everything up!

On Saturday my husband and I got up at 4.30am and headed to Sydney for the day. I did a shopping trip to Supa Centa Moore Park for a blog post which I will share with you during the week. I had a great day (although tiring because it’s about a 5 hour trip each way!)…

I bought a faux fiddle. I am rapt with that. Bonus.

Then after arriving home later Saturday evening, we crashed in bed, then jumped up super early on Sunday to head to Griffith so 2 of my boys could play cricket. It was so hot and such a long day again. But they both played amazing and I was very proud. I don’t think they’ll get out of bed easily today!

My house needs some serious maintenance today – and my washing basket is overflowing. Must hop to it. Happy Monday. ♥ KC.

I’m in Hay at Mum + Dads and I can’t decide if I want it to be hot or cold.

Aww gorgeous puppy 🙂 We have been melting here too on the Central Coast I have been hanging out for a good Southerly every night lately lol. I have no idea how people can handle being out in the heat for so long must be superhuman skills, my hubby used to play Cricket for the first few years we were dating but had to give it up (hooray!!!) I do feel a little bad as he misses it sometimes but it was best for his back and typically meant he was buggered, sunburnt and sore for his days off so has been better for him overall.

So damn hot and humid here in Sydney – thank God we just moved into a house with air con. I have no idea how we have survived the last 5 years at the previous house without it!
Slowly decorating the house to make it our ‘home’ – Christmas decorations went up last weekend!
Would love to do a shopping trip with you – if Chambo decides he’ll give it a miss 😀
