If you’re building a new house, or renovating, have you considered adding a recessed shelf or niche into your bedroom in place of a bedhead? The last house we built did have one over the bed and I loved it. We didn’t have the space for it in this house, but if I build again I’ll be adding another for sure. It had little downlights and was such a nice addition to the room.
