7 Mantras To Live By

Sometimes I see a good quote and it’s just what I need… the perfect pick-me-up. Today I want to share with you 7 mantras I believe can help anyone achieve their goals, make them more focused and help to nut out what they really want…

Be Mindful of Your Time

The only thing in life that we can’t compromise on is time. It’s just always the same. The more mindful we become of time, the happier, the more organised and more in-sync we become. Never take time for granted. If you want to achieve things and do great things, make time your new best friend.

Don’t love anything that can’t love you back

Oooo powerful. Emotionally investing yourself in something that’s not giving you anything back? Maybe that’s worth reconsidering? It doesn’t even have to be a human being. It can be work, a house, money… only give yourself to things which will truly fill you up.

Forget Luck, Live by Intent

Organise your time and energy based on your goals – they help provide direction for your life. Very few things in this world happen by chance. Live with the intention of positive things happening and you’ll be rewarded. On the flip side too, if you’re feeling negative and choose to live by chance, you’ll also live in fear and anxiety. When you live with purpose and capability, it does not matter what is happening or not happening, at least you are in control.

Decide to succeed

What you think you will become. It’s up to you to decide whether it will or won’t happen. Remember thoughts become things. So if you’re negative, then most likely the outcome will indeed be negative. It’s time to make the positive decision to succeed.

I will strive to live in the present

Repeat behaviour, bad habits and the fear of things which happened in the past will lead you down the wrong road. It’s time to resolve the past and live in the present. The future is the only thing we can shape.

Nothing of real value ever comes easy

The best way to overcome your problems and find the strength to carry on is believing that nothing of real value in life comes easy. If something was easy to do, everyone would be doing it! Understanding that success takes time and requires hard work and dedication is your first step to becoming a winner in life.

Engage in deliberate practice

Deliberate practice is an activity designed specifically to improve performance. Most people practice by mindlessly repeating an activity over and over. This won’t achieve anything unless you have goals and ambitions. If it’s not working for you, find a new way – a new routine. When you are focused and have that real sense of ‘deliberate practice’ your overall performance won’t be wasted.
