5 things I do before my Mum arrives on Christmas Day

(PS. Do NOT tell her I was eating mint slice biscuits in my bed at lunch time!)

1. Buy paper towel. She always asks for it and has a use for it. I never buy it normally.
2. Clean out the crumbs in the cutlery drawer.
3. Clean behind the toilet door.
4. Cut my kids finger nails.
5. Remind my husband NOT to have the air-conditioning blaring (she’ll bring a jumper anyway). She’s a cold frog and will do that shiver with her shoulders.

BUT, I love her and wouldn’t have it any other way!

I cleaned my cutlery draw too….But my mum isn’t coming to visit, just talking to her on the phone is enough to scare me into cleaning though

Merry Christmas Katrina. Funny isn’t it as my mother came the other day to stay and the one thing she did do was clean the cutlery drawer. Sandy xx
