WIN a spot in my next Blogging eCourse

Morning friends! How are you for a Monday? I’ve been busy on the computer lately with lots of blog makeovers. It’s been head down, bum up around here.

The Media Maid is like another job of mine. Yes I seem to have a few! Writing this blog and designing blogs is my main thing + throw in a bit of interior design. I like to be busy and mix things up a bit.

Want to take a look at some of my latest design projects? Go here to my Facebook album. Yes, you must visit them all! If you want some new blogs to read, then you’ll love some of these! Anyway, as you can see I’ve been a busy bee. If you want a blog makeover or help with a wordpress website then visit my Services page at The Media Maid.

Oh I’d love to win Katrina, my blog is almost a year old and I still haven’t mastered a newsletter. Everyone keeps saying you need one but I can’t for the life of me figure that one out.
    Thanks for another comp.

I would love to win a spot in your course Katrina! I setup a blog over a year ago with a fantastic idea as the premise. I just can’t start it properly though because I can’t get the design right. I have ideas in my head, I just don’t have the skills to implement them. Working through a course would provide the skills and focus I need to get the blog happening & not waste my good idea!

Wow, what an awesome opportunity this would be. Email, analytics, online order forms for the wine, gadgets and social media, design and a media kit. These would all take the blog to the next level. Doubling in reach stats the last month which is very exciting so just need the know how to move it all along as I really love doing it.
    Thanks Katrina.

    Hi Katrina,

I have just recently found your blog and love reading it. I am a relatively new blogger and I blog about my new house building journey, home styling and anything related to a happy home! My blog started about 3 months ago and what I need help most on is marketing my blog, building an audience and eCommerce (as I am planning to sell things online). I think the general look and feel from a design point of view can also be improved. I would appreciate any help I can get as I am pretty much a one person team at the moment!

So back in 1999 an IT guy I used to work for was like ‘you should start a blog’ and I was like ‘huh’? Fast track to Nov 2013 (albeit some 14 years later) I FINALLY got around to buying a domain name, web hosting and preferred WordPress theme and that’s where it all came to a grinding halt!

I’ve got all this ‘content’ swirling around in my head but for the life of me can’t work out my widgets from my Google analytics to my SEO and you’ve got stylings for Media Kits & Newsletters – hello!

They say ‘if you build it they will come’ but the way things are today I’m just hanging on by a thread the 1 follower I do have and I’m not sure my husband counts on a technicality that we actually sleep together???

You know what – there will be many people worthy of this AWESOME prize cause we’ve ALL got something to say via the blogosphere… But I honestly don’t know where to go from here and I want to do it right from the get-go and you seem to be leading by a very good example!

So I’m not going to beg, but I will make a ‘wish’ instead (even though the rule of wishes states that if you tell someone your wish it won’t come true) and hope that my little waffle of a plead gets noticed amongst the many other deserving candidates.

I’ve lost my blogginng mojo. I need a mojo, inspiration injection!

As a teacher, I realize that it is SUPER important to constantly be learning and I can’t help but want to find out how to make my site bigger, better, and overall awesome!

Hi Katrina, I have been lurking at yours and many other fab blogs for years. I have had my blog since 2011! and am yet to post…… I just need a kick start to understand how to set up features like google analytics, titles, categories etc. I am seriously the type of old school creative. – but creative none the less and would love such a wonderful opportunity. Anything technical I have gleaned has been from your site (i phone tips, Picmonkey etc) so I am sure your simple and straightforward style would work for me!

I want to rediscover consistency in my blogging, learn new skills and work out how to incorporate more income producing activities into my blog.

  • Jodie Essex

I have been an avid blog reader for many years but when the time came to write my own it ended up being harder than it looks.

I have followed all the tips I can find on SEO and analytic but still my numbers are low. I need real advice that is relevant to what I am doing and I think some Australian input would be great. Good luck to everyone because everyone I read here is so deserving.

    Hello Katrina!

    I’m a freelance illustrator/graphic designer and I have a wordpress blog up & running — but something isn’t quuuuite right…

I’d like to connect more people by being more transparent about my work process/life. Maybe inspire people to get out their sketchbooks and draw outside.

I think learning how to use Facebook/Twitter and learning how to host giveaways would help get more subscribers.

Also, I love the idea of being part of the FB Group — I’ll offer my 2 cents and would love any feedback on ways to improve my blog.

Thanks for the opportunity! It’s a great offer, I find blogging is such a creative outlet — now we can share with the entire world!
(I’m writing you from Southern California) 😉
