Have you thought about adding a skylight to your existing home or incorporating one in to your reno or new house build? I love them. I’ve wanted one for ages! They are the perfect solution to small, dark houses. They will instantly make the room feel bigger and more spacious. I went searching for a few rooms which look amazing with a skylight (or even multiples). Reno Rumble used them in almost every room when the show was on tv. Do you remember that? The last 3 photos are from the houses which were renovated on tv. They look so good.

So much natural light in these rooms. The bonus would be additional warmth in the Winter too. There are so many variations with them being fixed, remote controlled (so you can open for ventilation) or even ones which have a blind so you can close them over if it’s too bright.
