Shopping at Fantastic Furniture

Recently I was asked by Babyology to pop in to my local Fantastic Furniture store and choose something affordable and stylish to put in my home. I couldn’t decide on whether I wanted new bedside tables, or new dining chairs…

I took my bestie with me and we wandered for a while ummming and ahhhing. I had already done some research online so I was ready to check out a list of items.

I felt like I needed a change in my dining room. I previously had black tolix chairs (which have now made their way outside to my table). I wanted to lighten the space with something white. I have always loved my dining table. I’ve had it for about 8 years. I sanded the top of it back (and the bench seat) to take the lacquer off. I love this rustic look. So as you can see I decided on the Pop Chairs.

I only needed 5 of them because I kept the bench seat on the other side. These Pop Chairs have a padded seat and stylish splayed hardwood legs. They were extremely affordable at $99 per chair and are available in black or white. I have 3 boys, so these are not only comfy, but are easy to wipe over and clean after a messy dinner session.

My store didn’t have the 5 in stock, but they only took 24 hours to arrive. I thought that was pretty good. I hate waiting months for things! I didn’t find them super easy to put together though. You need 2 people for that job. The legs all go on separately and we ended up cutting the allen key in half and putting it in the drill as doing each leg by hand with just an allen key would have taken hours! Lucky my husband is a handy fella.

Anyhoo, I am loving these fresh new chairs which brighten up my space. I still can’t decide whether I should paint or strip the legs back on the table either… hmmmm another job I think!

I just bought Cooper a black one last night to have in his room as his desk chair! It was the most painful thing to put together – but looks great! Glad I only had to do one chair!
