I’m swimming in ‘ordinary’

What’s been happening in my world this week?

No house action. The slab is resting. It’ll be action city there next week though so I’ll have lots to blog about…

So this week, I’ve been swimming in boring routine… but I’m cool with that!

Everyone is always so busy, but nothing exciting is happening. At this time of the year my husband always works too much. Everyone wants everything done before Christmas. His business shuts down for 2 weeks over Christmas so it’s crazy leading up to the break.

So here are some photos from my week…

We played cricket…

We went to the dentist (I wrote about it here)…

I finished picking my kitchen and bathrooms. Yellow anyone? Jokes!

Amie came to hang out with me. We had lunch and hit the shops – as you do.

I spotted this in our one of our local shopping malls. It’s 8 times the size of me. I love you Wagga, but are you sure it needed to be this big?? ;)

So today, it’s kids birthday parties and touch football. I long for Monday’s. There is no such thing a weekend here any more.

I’ve also been madly writing for Kidspot over the last few months. Here are some of my posts if you want to have a read…

Sweet tweets : What did Sonia say after Big Brother wrapped?

How to sort out under the kitchen sink

Let music take you back to good times

Soothe your soul by talking and talking and…

Have a great weekend! Let me know if you’re on twitter, I’d love to follow you!

What are you up to this weekend?

My weekend, working on the house, going to have a look at an open for inspection ( my hobby lol) and then on Sunday will be working my job. Lucky that my kids are older now so I have a little time back!

Yep, ordinary here too. Work, school runs, housework. Seems like New York (and her water towers) was ages ago! Can’t wait to start your build with you! Xx

Thanks for the round up,I have had a manic week and trying to catch up on everyones happenings for the week has eluded me, so this was perfect. Oh the exciting part of choosing your kitchen. It really is the most important part (IMHO) of the entire build ;-). Its sort of like if you could, you would start there and branch off to the other “important” (like floorplans and structure) parts of the build. Your right Monday is almost a Mothers Saturday.
