DIY Kaboodle Kitchen!

Brought to you by Nuffnang and Kaboodle.

The kitchen is the heart of the home and if you’re in need of an update I am sure you’re going to love this idea! The prospect of a kitchen reno can be scary and it sure can be costly. BUT I think I’ve found a solution for you. The whole DIY process has been taken to another level – do the kitchen yourself with a Kaboodle Kitchen. Kaboodle can help you from start to finish – even the planning and design stages, and offer advice all the way through to the final assembly and installation.

Have you seen a Kaboodle Kitchen in Bunnings at all? That’s where you can see them – touch them, choose the colours… Their flat pack range of kitchens changed the way people renovate their homes by offering an easy to put together system of mixing and matching cabinets, doors and benchtops and it has saved Australian and New Zealand homeowners thousands.

Tight on space, need a bright colour, want a country style? Well, 4 easy steps will get you on your way. Pop to the Kaboodle website and walk through them…. Plan, Select, Create & Enjoy

I’ve been fiddling around on their website picking and choosing some of my favourite things.

With 3 robust boys I need my kitchen to withstand all the rough and tumble activites which go on in there! I need mine to be family friendly. The kids are ALWAYS eating and they spend a lot of time sitting up at the kitchen bench… so all surfaces need to be scratch resistant, stain resistant and scuff resistant. This means that when kids drop the beetroot you’ll be confident that no stains will be left behind. If your family is loud like mine, then perhaps the most important feature for any family friendly kitchen is soft close hinges and drawer runners to eliminate any slamming.

It’s also important to make sure you have the best quality in your kitchen that your budget can afford. Everyone’s taste and style is different so Kaboodle do offer a huge range of doors and panels. With the kitchen being the main area in my home where we sit to not only eat, but talk about things, do homework, create craft… it’s comforting to know that the quality will stand the test of time.

Kaboodle take the quality of their products very seriously and are always testing them to make sure they are perfect for every day. Their laminate benchtops are non-porous, hygienic and are incredibly durable, all whilst replicating a natural look. Perfect for the busy family.

I also recommend you download the Product Selection Guide where everything you might need when choosing a kitchen is in one place. It’s very handy!

If you’re not confident in measuring it all up, but know you can easily put it all together then Bunnings will help you.

I’d love to know what you think? Would this be something you’d give a go? I can imagine there would be huge dollar savings and this could mean you’d have a new kitchen in no time!

♥ KC.

I’ve been looking for somewhere that I can “fiddle” around on to see what I can do with my existing kitchen. This is one that I’m looking forward to try. I shall certainly let you know how I got on. Thanks again Katrien for sharing with us.

Katrina, I want white doors for my new laundry cabinets. Can you recommend a way to make sure they don’t look like cheap melamine??? Are yours painted, vinyl wrap or laminex???
