About Me

Hi! Thanks for stopping by! I am a big fan of blogging and have had numerous blogs since 2006. I then joined the Facebook and Twitter networks and now you can’t get me off them. :)

I was on the tv show The Block 2011. I had the time of my life! Oh, and I went to the Logies (here)!

I am an Aussie mummy to 3 rascal boys and a wife to a hard-working bloke. I live in Wagga Wagga NSW. I like to think I am in my early 20s, but I don’t like to stay up late like a 20 year old. I am a magazine junkie and will paint a wall every week a new colour if I could. I love a project.

I have a University Degree in Advertising and Marketing, a Real Estate Certificate and my hubby owns a printing company. I have a few other tricks up my sleeve too, but my main passion at the moment is making pretty blog pages. I have a business, The Media Maid, where I create gorgeous blogs. I also teach people how to use Social Media at a local college and I run interior design workshops. I just built a new house, so you can see my love for interior design over here.

I have just launched an online blogging course named The Media Maid’s Blog Academy where I teach bloggers everything they need to know about creating a successful blog. You can read more about that here and sign-up!

I was named the winner of Australia’s Kidspot Top Blogger 2012. You can read about it here.

I have had Crohn’s Disease for 19 years and I used my time on The Block to speak about it and raise awareness. I won $10,000 for Crohn’s and Colitis Australia on Millionaire Hotseat. Here is an article I did for the Herald Sun. I am continuing my pledge to raise awareness for this horrible disease.

My blog is full of life. I’ll share just about anything and everything with you. If you want to work with me ie. advertise here, show me your products or want me to speak at an event just click over to my advertise page where you can find out more about what I like to blog about.

Sign-up to my newsletter to get to know me better and you’ll never miss a thing! I’ll give you the heads up on blog courses, giveaways and what’s happening in my life.
